Thursday Nights Out
Documentation of a community-based project in North Minneapolis done in collaboration with Grace Davitt. We made approximately 80 plates (some thrown, some slip cast picnic plates) with transfer images of recipes, drawings of community members, maps, and garden images. We hosted a series of 7 community cookouts and served all local, and sustainably grown food. 60–120 people attended each week. The project was supported by a grant from Forecast Public Art.
